Taking place in the majestic surroundings of Franschoek at Backsberg Wine Estate, this wedding was always destined to be remembered!

Details included the bride arriving with her bridesmaids in a helicopter, personalized badges for their guests presented to them upon arrival at the ceremony, his and hers fragrances as favours and cool wine and cocktails flowing until the early hours of the morning. All this ensured a stylish, intimate affair where the couple celebrated with 160 close family members and friends.

Elische was very involved with the planning process even though they lived in Johannesburg at the time and this certainly helped her feel more relaxed and in control of creating her dream wedding experience! Even the day before the wedding,  she insisted on helping to iron the special overlays which had been made for the tables as well as create the special bird stationery pieces that were designed specifically for them.

Their theme was modern black and white with king size protea’s complimenting the modern, strong designs as well as a sensational 4 tiered square cake and black and white dance floor.
An elegant affair many are still talking about!
