We have to admit that Taffy and Ticha have proven to be one of the nicest, true to themselves, down to earth couple we have ever worked with! What an absolute pleasure it was so be so intimately involved in the details that made this wedding the fun filled occasion it was. Residing in Johannesburg, Taffy and Ticha decided that they needed assistance in managing their wedding from a distance and so chose Piece of Cake Weddings for the job!

The majority of the wedding guests came in from overseas and out of town and committed to making it a weekend affair with picnics at Moyo and more sightseeing in the Mother City. The wedding took place at Diemersfontein in Wellington and again most of the guests stayed over so that they could relax and enjoy the night without the pressure of returning home! And party they did!

A beautiful garden ceremony took place under a gazebo with flowers cascading down to set the perfect scene. Taffy looked magnificent in a wedding gown ordered from overseas and Ticha looked sophisticated in his suit and yellow  tie with their retinue, friends and family engaging in the ceremony and in essence helping the minister marry the couple who are so destined for each other.

The guests were then lead into a garden with a swimming pool where they could soak their feet in the cool water whilst sipping drinks and snacking on canapés. The couple had a photo of themselves on a beach enlarged onto a canvass so that guests could write a message on it and it is now a prominent feature in their home bringing them joyous memories!

Every aspect for the perfect wedding was in place, but what made this one special was the desire for a marriage, fun and laughter and a real understanding of the true joys in life! Congratulations again you two!
