Organizing a wedding from the UK is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination, but Gail ensured that everything was done with minimal effort from my side. She kept in regular contact via e-mail and phone and I felt I could leave the majority of the decision making up to her. We were very right for doing so, as our wedding was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything she had organized, from the great venue to the lovely decor and well situated accommodation. I will recommend anybody that wants their day to be special and feel relaxed throughout the planning process to consider using “Piece of Cake Weddings”.

I did not get a chance to thank and congratulate Gail and Piece of Cake in my wedding speech for their OUTSTANDING effort at our wedding. They were absolutely amazing in every aspect of the event and it would not have been such a success without their constant professionalism and friendly advice and help. Gail ran the day like a true professional and let my wife, Lisa and I enjoy the entire day without a worry as far as the flow of the day went. They worked like super-wedding-planner heroes and were so covert in their mission, but always present to our every whim. I highly recommend them to anybody who thinks that planning a wedding is easy as they took care of everything from day one. Initially I was reticent to take on a wedding planner because of the cost involved in putting on a wedding, but after spending hours online searching for venues, service providers and the like, I realized the process was time consuming and labour intensive. I needed help. When I met Gail from Piece of Cake Weddings, I knew she was the right person for me. Her quiet professionalism and reasonable fee were immediately attractive. She was able to offer lists of service providers, ideas, and support. She thought through details and made numerous suggestions, I wouldn’t have even imagined. We were in constant contact during the months of planning and she always responded immediately and was attentive and organised. I really had a sense of being contained through the process. Her manner is efficient, yet calm and unobtrusive which also gave me the space to make the wedding day feel like mine and not something done for me. I came to value the advantage of having her liaise with service providers, and following up on matters that I did not want to deal with. Her presence on the actual day meant that I could let go and trust that everything was taken care of. It allowed me to feel joyous, relaxed and able to be there with my husband, family and guests. I ended up loving my wedding day and I hadn’t expected to! I am so grateful for having had Gail there along the way. I cannot recommend her services enough. She shared in an important event in my life and came to feel like a friend.

Short of having to ask someone to marry you and having to decide if that is what you really want the planning and arranging of THE special day has got to be one of the most stressful experiences any bride or groom could ever wish to go through (so we learned fast that is test number one - survive THIS time 
When we first met you, we were immediately taken aback by the confidence and knowledge that you brought across but more importantly your vibe and energy really stole our attention. It only took a few moments and we were totally relaxed and eased into the process of allowing you to take us through the planning of our wedding.
And then it started: You not only handled the planning and organizing in the best possible way, you also handled every crazy idea offered frequently by the bride brilliantly - including teaming up with her against her dad to get it done HER way 
A creative bride is good to have, to have very creative Co-ordinators, is even better!
Arranging our wedding in the styx (for all non South Africans: styx=middle of nowhere) and accommodating 120 guests plus staff, was done in the most professional way up and including on the day.
Difficult to understand how only you managed an event between four different locations without a hitch?!?! If you ever want to change professions - will gladly take you into the movie business as you do not only support and organize everything with such aplomb, we are certainly convinced that you can realize everybody’s dream wedding regardless of the budget!
Nothing was ever too much for you guys, including the challenging time starting 20 hours before our wedding. Pulling this off was just amazing - you saved the day!!!
